When The Mandalorian and Grogu came to Paris, Disney France wanted more than posters on Le Grand Rex. They wanted Grogu himself, hanging above the marquee of Europe's most legendary cinema, welcoming the crowd to the premiere.
The hard part of Grogu is not his size. It is that everyone on that boulevard has watched him in close-up. So realism became the whole project: the mottled skin, the veins in his ears, the fuzzy collar and the woven texture of his robe, all printed and sculpted to survive a phone camera at three meters. We built him and rigged him to an art deco facade nine decades old. Paris got its smallest biggest star, exactly as the galaxy knows him.
